LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
HERITAGE SAFE CO. warrants your new Summit
Safe to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for
the lifetime of the original owner. Options such as the dehumidifier,
light kit, and lock upgrades are subject to their respective
manufacturer’s warranty.
HERITAGE SAFE CO. shall only be responsible
and liable when the safe is used in compliance with the directions
specified with your new Summit Safe. In the event of a home
fire, Heritage Safe CO. will replace the damaged safe free of
charge. Heritage Safe CO. will provide an additional performance
fire warranty guarantee to specified Summit safe models (Everest
and Denali editions) to warrant for content damage. In the event
of a home fire to the primary residence and damage to the specified
Summit safe, which results in failure, the performance warranty
guarantee will provide additional coverage under the consumer
content damage warranty. The performance fire warranty
guarantee claim for content damage: Summit Everest Edition:
up to $10,000.00 Summit Denali Edition: up to $3,000.00 The
Consumer will receive the claim amount based on the home owner
insurance adjuster verifying safe damage and safe content damage
and verifying the destroyed content and valuation. All damaged
and claimed property must be sent to Heritage Safe CO. and will
become the property of Heritage Safe CO. prior to claim payment.
HERITAGE SAFE CO. will repair or replace any Summit
Safe breached by forced entry, forced attack, or damaged by
fire or flood during the lifetime of the original owner, providing
homeowner’s insurance will not cover the claim. This extended
lifetime warranty is limited to the safe itself and expressly
excludes any loss associated with the contents of the safe other
than specified in this warranty.
HERITAGE SAFE CO. shall guarantee the original mechanical
lock for 5 years or the original electronic lock for 2 year
from the date of delivery of your new safe. Unauthorized changes,
repairs or replacement of the lock or lock combination will
void this warranty.
HERITAGE SAFE CO. warrants the painted surface
of the safe to be free from rust for 5 years from the date of
delivery.
HERITAGE SAFE CO. requires that specific guidelines
be followed for repair. The safe will be repaired in-home if
possible (to include parts and labor); however, if factory repair
or replacement is necessary the original purchaser will bear
the responsibility of shipping the safe to the factory in Grace,
Idaho or to any other designated point defined by Heritage Safe
CO. The replacement or repaired safe (at Heritage’s option)
will be shipped free of freight, curbside delivery. This warranty
does not cover misuse, alterations in the product, paint scratches,
paint chips, negligence or damages due to accidents. Additionally,
this warranty is not transferable without prior written consent
of Heritage Safe CO. Heritage reserves the right to deny a request
for transfer of this warranty for any reason. Summit Safes are
built to last a lifetime. Your satisfaction is our reward, however,
HERITAGE SAFE CO. reserves the right to receive full evidence
of your misfortune, such as a police report, fire report, and/or
homeowner’s statement of coverage. This warranty is not valid
outside of the 48 neighboring United States. Warranty card and
proof of payment must be on file at the time of claim.
